Nick Gatti, executive chef of the Alpine Country Club in Demarest, was the victor at the recent Country Club Chefs Burger Battle, sponsored by Baldor Foods and judged by Josh Ozersky, author of “The Hamburger: A History”; New York Times food columnist Melissa Clark, and Mark Rosati, the culinary director of Shake Shack.
